Yard Waste & Leaf Pickup Service

Yard Waste/Compost

Yard waste tags are not required for the 2026 curbside yard waste season! Starting the week of April 6, 2026, through mid-December, simply place your yard waste in paper bags or cans at your curb before 7 AM on your trash pickup day. Bags and cans cannot be more than 32 gallons and 50 pounds, and cans must be clearly labeled “YARD WASTE” or “COMPOST”. Plastic bags containing yard waste will not be collected.

Yard waste includes grass, leaves, shrubbery cuttings, vines, rose bushes, roots, stumps, and sticks. If you have branches larger than 4 feet long and 2 inches in diameter, you should place them at your curb for chipper service. Chipper service happens on a bi-weekly basis throughout the entire city, and you must place materials at the curb before 7 AM every other Monday starting on April 6.
